Belgrade audience could already see the Cool Fire project live at the Lee Scratch Perry gig in 2002 (at Tasmajdan) where they performed as guests. This is also the first dub album to be released in Serbia. It contains 8 songs, with very recogniseable reggae and dub rhytms, modernized by electronic sounds. The first radio singl was DRUM SONG RIDDIM REMIX of the song "Foolin I and I" which did great at domestic charts, topping them for weeks. The first video was recorded for the song "As I go to bed" and got a very high rotation on all TV stations, not only in Belgrade, but on stations throughout Serbia. There is also a plan for doing another video for the song "Foolin I and I remix".
Cool Fire is a collaboration between the Belgrade's ultra famous band Eyesburn and dub poet Ank Steady. Ank Steady is a Jamaican who lives in Holland in the past few years. He met the fellows of Eyesburn at EXIT music festival (Novi Sad) and since then they began their collaboration via Internet. Ank sends his vocal (song lyrics), which is later fitted into the programmed tracks along with live instruments.
